A small planning tool
How much fits into your week?
Estimate a realistic task count from the time you have. Adjust the assumptions; the calculation stays inside this page.
Total time you can set aside this week.
Include preparation and follow-up time.
Leave room for interruptions and uncertainty.
Estimated capacity
20 hours × 60 × (1 − 25 / 100) ÷ 90 = 10 complete tasks.
Use this as a starting point
The result rounds down to complete tasks. Real work varies; this simple estimate assumes tasks take similar amounts of time and does not account for dependencies. Keep a buffer and revisit the estimate as you learn.
How the calculation works
Usable minutes = available hours × 60 × (1 − buffer percentage / 100). Complete tasks = usable minutes divided by minutes per task, rounded down.
